Scandic Go is a new hotel concept from Scandic, designed for travellers who want to make the most of their stay. Centrally located hotels with a smooth and modern hotel experience – where you get everything you need, when you need it, from breakfast to services.

The launch campaign was built on the insight that there are many things holding people back from travelling – but that Scandic Go removes those barriers. Affordable prices and a seamless, hassle-free experience make the hotel a facilitator, allowing the trip itself to become easier, more spontaneous and more enjoyable.

That’s why we flipped the perspective. Instead of presenting Scandic Go as an interruption, we made the ads themselves the obstacle. Each ad openly acknowledges its own role in stopping you from doing what you actually want to do – scrolling, watching, or moving on – while making it clear that Scandic Go won’t.

By playfully turning the ad format against itself, we created a concept that works natively across platforms. Whether it’s a scroll-stopping TikTok, a skippable YouTube pre-roll, or other digital formats, the message remains consistent: Scandic Go functions as a catalyst for travel, not a limitation.

The visual and tonal execution reinforces the feeling of forward motion, warmth and energy – strengthening the sense of accessibility, ease and modern travel.
