Making the complex visible
Sweco is everywhere — in the subway you take to work, in the power grid that keeps your lights on, in the stormwater systems beneath your feet. Yet despite being one of Europe's leading architecture and engineering consultancies, awareness of their true breadth of work remained low.
The challenge was to make decision-makers, prospective employees, and the general public understand the full scope of Sweco's role in building the sustainable, resilient communities of tomorrow — without losing them to complexity.



Humor as a tool
We developed the concept "Typiskt Sweco" — a humorous, character-driven campaign that reveals the unexpected and surprising ways Sweco shapes everyday life. Through a series of films, we turned complex engineering and architecture assignments into stories that are instantly relatable and hard to forget.
Rather than explaining what Sweco does, we showed what life looks like because of it. Two films launched in spring 2026, with a second wave planned for autumn — keeping the campaign alive and the conversation going.
